Security Guard
The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and hotel assets through active monitoring, prevention, patrolling, and emergency response.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and control all entrances and exits of the hotel and surrounding perimeter.
- Maintain order, peace, and privacy by preventing unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Prevent attempted offenses or criminal acts on hotel premises.
- Continuously monitor PTZ security cameras, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment.
- Ensure guests can rest undisturbed in a quiet and secure environment, especially overnight.
- Monitor movement of people, loading/unloading of goods, and vehicle circulation.
- Allow entry only to authorized personnel who complete required security procedures.
- Remain vigilant to prevent and stop potential sabotage or diversion acts.
- Conduct regular patrols in all indoor and outdoor hotel areas and report suspicious activity by radio.
- Protect guests, staff, hotel property, and all persons on-site.
- In case of fire, alert authorities immediately and assist with initial fire response.
- Maintain a detailed logbook of suspicious entries/exits, identity verification, and relevant security information.
