Security Manager
The Security Manager oversees all safety and protection procedures to ensure secure operations, guest peace of mind, and full control of access, surveillance, incident response, and internal discipline.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and control all hotel entrances, exits, and surrounding perimeter.
- Maintain order and tranquility, and prevent unauthorized access to restricted/private areas.
- Prevent attempted offenses or criminal acts within hotel premises.
- Continuously monitor PTZ cameras, alarm systems, and electronic surveillance equipment during working hours.
- Ensure guests and clients enjoy a safe and quiet environment 24/7.
- Oversee movement of people, loading/unloading operations, and vehicle traffic.
- Allow access only to authorized personnel who pass required security screening procedures.
- Vigilantly prevent and stop potential sabotage or diversion acts.
- Coordinate continuous patrols in all indoor and outdoor areas and report suspicious movement by radio.
- Protect guests, property, staff members, and all other individuals on-site.
- In fire emergencies, take immediate suppression and notification measures.
- Coordinate with department managers to maintain internal discipline and report irregularities to Legal and HR.
- Maintain a dedicated logbook for suspicious entries/exits, identity verification, and all relevant security documentation.
