Hotel Receptionist (Front Desk Agent)

Derand Hotel is opening a vacancy for the position of Receptionist, a key operational role and the primary point of contact for our guests. We maintain high service standards with a focus on organization, accuracy, and a consistent guest experience.

We are looking for candidates with proven experience, a professional approach, and job stability, aiming for long-term collaboration and active participation in maintaining the hotel’s standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and registering guests (check-in / check-out) according to procedures.
  • Managing reservations and updating PMS data with full accuracy.
  • Processing payments (cash/card), managing cash register, and issuing documentation.
  • Handling complaints and requests professionally with solution focus.
  • Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
  • Preparing shift reports and ensuring accurate handover.
  • Following hotel standards, internal regulations, and confidentiality protocols.

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant front desk/hospitality experience.
  • Practical PMS experience and strong computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional appearance, and strong work ethics.
  • High accuracy in organization, details, and cash/document handling.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining service quality.
  • Excellent Albanian and mandatory English (other languages are an advantage).
  • Long-term commitment and work stability.
  • References from previous employers are preferred.
  • Upselling ability (room upgrades / extra services) is required.
  • OTA/Channel Manager knowledge (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) is an advantage.
  • High confidentiality and precise handling of guest data.
